Just when you thought we'd gone, I have come to report GOOD NEWS! Tangerous has been writing new music, playing local events, and has JUST RETURNED from the studio with two new demo songs: "Constrictor" and "The New York Electric Chair". After a few days of mixing they should be available for streaming.

In other news, Rey Gonzalez is now responsible for keeping the beat with J, Eric, and Brandon. We love you!

In other other news, Tangerous will be taking a short drive out to Pearland to broadcast an interview and possibly a live acoustic song or two. Links posted asap!

Hello everyone,
This is a sad announcement that Tangerous will be losing Austin on the drum set. He will be attending UT Austin for Chemical Engineering and... yep, obviously, Economics. So, hat's off to Mr. Comer, for the next coming show, (7/24/09) will be his last!
P.S.: During the show we will be performing a small send-off ritual for his good luck.

A new drummer is currently working to pick up the pieces ;-). Don't stop believing.

TANGEROUS had a great show on Sunday; at least, that's how it felt from where we were standing! Special thanks to all who came out to support, mucho amor to you folks!
Last night Brandon and myself went out to Pearland and played a little set in the town center there; It was great to interact with the people there, and boy does that area look nice! Drop by sometime.
Tonight, we will be scooting on over to Javioca on South Highway 6 for a battle of the bands. 8PM, and try the milk tea!

Good lord, it has been a while since an update showed its ugly face around here, hasn't it?

Well, at least I have the good stuff today! After performing at the local Hot Topic, we have plans to enter a battle of the bands... TOMORROW! After the audition and them setting us up with our time slot, we'll be hard at work to perform for the 6th of May.

A live recording of the 4-Song set will include one never-recorded song, and a live version of two new ones that have not been finalized yet! The fourth will be an oldie, but a sweet, sweet goody that never stays the same!

Hello! No, we are not dead! We are going to begin official recording of the first track on our up-nd-coming EP tomorrow afternoon in Jimmy's quasi-bedroom.

This bedroom consists of no beds. There IS a mattress, but its main purpose is to keep one of us from flying out the window while we are rocking. If you want to reserve a copy for freezy, email us at merch@tangerous.com with your name and some way we contact you (phone number preferable).

In any case, two new shows have been posted, one at the good ol' Javioca coffee shop, and one more at the Engine Room. In addition, Tangerous is in the process of setting up a certain amount of home studio equipment, and by next month you can all expect us to be in hot pursuit of a few new tunes going on print. If there are no more technical difficulties, that is.
And, lastly, there should be some pictures of our Alvin Benefit up in the not so distant future. Also, one of a fish.

Guten Nacht, everyone!
TANGEROUS went down to the Engine Room last night to rock the house. It was pretty intense, much louder than we are used to being normally :-D. Eric managed to steal some of A Bubble in the Sun's stage time by playing the egg shakers for a tune. (Did you see what we did there? That's a link to A Bubble in the Sun's myspace... Go to it, or else).
The evening was a blast. So, we hope to see even more of you guys out there cheering for us next time!

Aloha all! Tangerous went into the studio last Wednesday to record a small demo. Included are three remade tracks: Board and Nails, HMH, and Dead Poet's Society. It should be available for distribution this weekend, so if you want a copy we can send you one, or you can just listen for our MySpace page to shoot it up. Your call!

Hello world! Tangerous would like to thank everyone with a big homemade THANK YOU for coming out to see us on January 12th. The show was a lot of fun for us and we hope it was for y'all too! News: Tangerous is planning to break out a demo in the studio sometime at the end of this month, so keep your ears open and the announcement will land in a MySpace or EMail box near you!
